Cool Meditation Software for the Mac OS

I have been using this for about two weeks and it works great. Basicly its a simple countdown timer with a few extras. The software allows you to set a delay before start, a gong or bell noise at specified intervals and the coolest feature is that you can export your settings to iTunes. That means you can drop the mp3 on your iPod and sit in a park or anywhere else with out the need to take your Mac with you :-)

More planets?

Sigh, ok I just wish the brains could decide. First Pluto wasn't a planet, not that i ever believed em :-) Then Pluto is "back" as a planet, "whoops we really didn't mean it." Now they want to add three more. It's all a giant conspiract to make schools and us broke parents to A. buy more text books and B. to look like a bunch of fools because we don't know what we're talking about. Sigh, as if we don't have enough problems. We should start a campaign to just leave good enough alone .... If we don't F with the planets, they won't F with us .... well, uhhh something like that :-) Oh yeah and while I'm whining... "Plutons" is a bad name, it sounds like a New Wave band from the 80's.

Miss Piggy would blush - Muppet creators go adult

By Paul Majendie
EDINBURGH (Reuters) - The creators of The Muppets and Sesame Street are staging a puppet show that is strictly for adults only.
Miss Piggy would blush over the antics in "Jim Henson's Puppet Improv" which spearheads a renaissance of puppet shows for grown-ups at this year's Edinburgh Fringe arts festival.
Every afternoon at the Fringe, an anarchic troupe of puppeteers led by the late Jim Henson's son Brian do an improvisational show for kids.
Every evening the air turns blue as the show takes off into surreal flights of fancy dictated by the audience.
"It is lovely to do a show where you can go wherever your brain takes you," said Henson, after that night's audience asked the puppeteers to play half a dozen hot dog puppets auditioning to be Ricky Martin's backup singers.
But would Brian's father have approved?
"I think he would have loved it because of how outrageous I get. My Dad really believed in community and sweetness but the other side of him was incredibly naughty.
"He always said the only reason we did this was those moments where it is like laughing in church. It becomes so infectious you cannot stop laughing."
This is too cool! Too bad it will never make it into the US. The muppets are too sacred here. Bummer :-(

LOL, ok these guys have problems :-)

Group apologizes for taking three years worth of Taco Bell sauces
A group of 10 to 15 masked individuals entered Taco Bell, 3244 S. Western Ave., around 10:46 p.m. Tuesday to return a three-year stash of fire sauce packets, police say.
The group returned six 40-gallon trash bags filled with approximately, 25,000 sauce packets to the restaurant.
With the stash was a note stating that they had been accumulating the sauces over three years and kept them stored in the trunk of a vehicle, but felt guilty about keeping them and decided to return them to the restaurant.
Pluto is still a planet..... Whew, now I can sleep at night :-)

Morning Edition, August 10, 2006 · An international panel has unanimously recommended that Pluto retain its title as a planet, and it may be joined by other undersized objects that revolve around the sun.
Some astronomers had lobbied for reclassifying Pluto because it is so tiny. And at least one major museum has excluded Pluto from its planetary display. But sources tell NPR that under a proposal to be presented at a big meeting of astronomers in Prague next week for a vote, Pluto would become part of a new class of small planets. Several more objects could be granted membership.
You know, it always feels good when you remember something from school and it true. Thats just one lees thing that down the road my kids can call me a moron about :-) "Back when I was a kid, Pluto was a planet and the internet was just a series of tubes" LOL
